　何かが起これば、物体どももいつもとは違う行動を興す。

　好奇心からそれの正体を探ろうとする、野次馬根性のもの。

　「少女」は、ただ「在り続ける」存在となった。

　知性を持つ獣、という存在はある意味珍しくは無い。
　だが……その獣は、少しばかり知恵をつけすぎた。
　今まで本能だった仕草を、「意識」してしまうようになった。
　「期待」に応えるための「演技」を考えてしまうようになった。
　獣は、決して人ではない。そして、その獣は最早ただの獣には戻れない。

　「それ」は、自分をより可愛らしく飾り立てようという野心家であった。
　目をつけたのは、斯くも愛らしいガジェット……獣の耳、尻尾……。
　「素材」から「毟り」取り、装着してみるが、合わない。次々に試す。
　……思えば、その一連の行動が私の全てだったからなのか。
　気づいた時には、「耳」と「尻尾」だけの存在になっていた。

　その細菌は、正しく「コンソールパネル」だった。

　とある旧支配者に酷似した名を持つが、関係は皆無の模様。
　自身の声色が存在せず、常に誰か声色を模倣しつつ６つの口で捲し立てる。
　名目上は????????の従者であるが、その実、絶対的な上下関係は無く、
　「面白いからついていく」という本人の意向によるものである。

　かつて人であったものが、肉体を放棄し、
　言語という概念そのものと一体化した「魔人」。
